Menu bar app · macOS 14+

Your desk is now a studio.

DeskBroadcast turns any webcam and mic into a software-defined studio — color-graded video and AI-isolated, broadcast-ready voice, delivered to Zoom, Meet, and Teams as a virtual camera and mic.

The demo below is live — it’s a faithful web replica of the real app.

A web replica of the DeskBroadcast panel. In the real app, everything you see here is applied to your actual webcam and mic — then published as virtual devices.

One menu bar icon.
A whole control room behind it.

Everything runs on-device, in real time, before your call ever sees a frame or a sample.

Cinematic Look pipeline

Grade your camera like footage: warmth, tint, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, vibrance and sharpness — live, with a mirrored preview.

Virtual camera & mic

Zoom, Meet, and Teams simply select “DeskBroadcast Camera” and “DeskBroadcast Mic” — and receive your fully processed feed. No plugins.

AI voice isolation

A neural denoiser (DeepFilterNet 3) separates your voice from everything else — the barking dog, the dishwasher, the household behind you — fully on-device. A studio chain polishes what’s left: hum filter, gate, 4-band voice EQ, compressor, auto-level.

Hardware UVC control

Talk directly to USB webcams: white balance, focus, zoom, shutter, and anti-flicker — real sensor settings, not just software filters.

Calibration & mic check

A live RTA spectrum analyzer walks you through the physical gain dials, and an 8-second mic check replays your voice raw vs. processed — hear exactly what your call hears, before you join it.

One-click presets

Save camera looks and mic chains as presets, and switch your whole studio for a podcast, a pitch, or a stand-up in a single click.

The signal path

DeskBroadcast sits between your hardware and your call — invisible to the apps, entirely under your control.

Questions, answered

Does it work with Zoom, Meet, and Teams?

Yes. DeskBroadcast publishes a standard virtual camera and virtual microphone at the system level. Any app that can pick a camera or mic — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, FaceTime, OBS, browsers — can select “DeskBroadcast Camera” and “DeskBroadcast Mic” and receives the fully processed feed.

Which webcams get hardware control?

Any UVC-compliant USB webcam — which covers most models from Logitech, Elgato, Razer, OBSBOT, and others. DeskBroadcast queries the camera and shows exactly the controls it exposes (white balance, focus, zoom, shutter, anti-flicker vary by model). The software Look pipeline and background blur work with every camera, including the built-in one.

How does AI voice isolation work?

A neural speech model (DeepFilterNet 3) runs inside the app and separates voice from non-voice a hundred times a second — so it removes sounds a classic noise reducer can’t touch: barking, dish clatter, other voices in the room. It adds about 40 ms of latency, uses under a tenth of one CPU core, and — like everything in DeskBroadcast — runs entirely on your Mac. Prefer the classical spectral reducer that learns your room? It’s still there; AI isolation is a single toggle.

Is any processing done in the cloud?

No — processing is entirely on-device, including the AI voice-isolation model, which ships inside the app. Video, audio, and the room-noise profile the app learns never leave your Mac. There is no account, no telemetry pipeline for your media, and DeskBroadcast works completely offline.

How do licensing and refunds work?

Pro is a one-time $79 purchase. You receive a license key by email and paste it into the app’s “Unlock Pro” panel — done, on all your own Macs. If it doesn’t work out, email hello@deskbroadcast.com within 14 days for a full refund.
